High Rise
Synopsis
High Rise was my final project for my 2nd year Unity class. It is 1v1, with one player using mouse and keyboard and the other using a standard controller. There are also 6 AI bots that start in the middle of the arena. Initially starting out neutral (grey) and shooting whichever player is closer, as they are killed, they will switch allegiances and colour (blue or red) based on who killed them. They will then exclusively go after the opposing player too. If killed again, they will revert to neutral. Points are accumulated based on who killed who and the first to reach 50 points, or the one with the most when the timer runs out, is crowned the winner.
The game is played like a typical FPS, allowing the player to aim, shoot, move, jump and reload. It also featured powerups, such as double damage, that are placed across the map, as well as collectibles to replenish ammo and health.
